| Customer Reviews: a useful tool October 28, 2007 Branchgraft I have not yet read this book but have skimmed through the pages and can see it is a useful tool for keeping up with legal issues in the workplace. The book arrived in great condition and in a relatively short time frame.
Must have for every Department Manager June 11, 2008 Molly Hughes (Raleigh, NC) Nola does an excellent job of reviewing Employment Laws in an easy to understand and concise manner. Human Resource departments could benefit by making sure every manager has this book and understands the content. They would save themselves a lot of time backtracking after the fact with when legal issues arise that could easily have been prevented.

For the newbies in HR April 6, 2008 C. Ly (Corona, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is enjoyable and easy to understand, especially for those new in the HR field or those wanting to understand the HR function. The book covers topics with general information and not for those who are looking for in-depth decription of "how-to" or "what-to-do" in each of the HR functions. Overall, I think it is informative.
